Welcome to Nomad Vault, a secure document storage application provided by TechAppPartners LLC ("we," "our," "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information with transparency, integrity, and care.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your information when you use the Nomad Vault mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices outlined here.
2. What We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to provide our service and protect your account:
a) Information You Provide
Your name, email address, and password when creating an account.
Any documents you voluntarily upload to your secure vault. These may include sensitive materials such as:
Government-issued IDs
Travel documents (e.g., passports, visas)
Insurance, medical, or legal records
Certifications, resumes, or contracts
Optional biometric access (Face ID, fingerprint) stored locally on your device. We do not access or store your biometric data.
b) Information We Collect Automatically
Technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, and crash logs via Firebase.
We do not collect your GPS location, browsing activity, or microphone/camera data.
c) Information from Other Sources
We do not purchase or request personal data from third-party sources.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Create and manage your account
Allow secure document storage and retrieval
Enable offline access and document translation
Authenticate logins (including optional biometric login)
Respond to customer support inquiries
Maintain the performance, security, and functionality of the Service
Provide optional features like emergency access or contact delegation
We do not use your data for:
Targeted advertising
Selling or renting to third parties
Tracking your location or behavior
4. Document Access and Emergency Use
Documents uploaded to Nomad Vault are:
Encrypted in Firebase (both in transit and at rest)
Accessible only by you unless you explicitly share or activate emergency access
Protected by your login credentials and optional biometrics
If you use the emergency access feature, you may authorize a trusted contact to retrieve select files if you’re unable to access your account. You control this setting entirely.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not share your personal or document data with third parties, except:
When required by law or legal process (e.g., subpoena or court order)
With trusted vendors providing backend services (e.g., Firebase by Google), under strict contractual data protection obligations
If you opt-in to features like sharing documents or enabling emergency access
We may share aggregated, de-identified analytics (not linked to any user) for internal insights.
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data:
Firebase Authentication and Firestore Security Rules
Encrypted storage for all documents
Password-protected access
Optional biometric lock (managed entirely on your device)
Note: No system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and enable biometric login when available.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal data only while your account is active or as long as necessary for legal or support purposes.
You may delete your account at any time. This will:
Permanently erase all uploaded documents
Remove your personal account data from our systems

8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion
Object to or restrict certain data processing

Nomad Vault is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under this age. If we learn that a child has registered, we will delete their data promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our services, technologies, or laws. The “Last Updated” date at the top will always show the latest revision. Significant changes will be notified via the app or email.
